Our Mission

Our Mission

The Balanced Wellness Centre reimagines the way you and your employees experience work/life balance.

We do this by helping you to not only redefine what your Wellness Package could be, but how you and your employees experience and access your own wellness.

Our goal is to revitalize team morale through programming that speaks to each individual, for the health and wellness of your workplace as a whole.

What We Offer

Wellness Matters

  • In a recent Canadian poll, about 1/4 of Canadians said that they feel quite a bit stressed or extremely stressed most days.
  • We all experience stress:
    • Women tend to react more to chronic stressors like time constraints, meeting others’ expectations, marital relationships, children, and family health.
    • Men are more affected by work-related stressors like a change in job, demotion, pay cut, and financial difficulties.
  • By age 40, about 50% of the population will have or have had a mental illness.

Wellness Works

  • Clinically studies have proven that investing in your own mental, emotionally and physical health can lead to:
  • Reduced: anxiety, depression, stress, frustration, anger, chronic pain, burnout, insomnia, it can even reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer;
  • Increased: concentration, motivation, happiness, energy, self awareness and feelings of personal power and quality of life.

…and if those aren’t good enough reasons to give it a try, we don’t know what is.

Gratitude

From Students:

These instructors have a real gift for simplifying the practice when nothing in our lives feels simple.

Tamara, Student

I thought all the tips and advice given were so useful during these times...I struggle to stay in the moment and need to practice the grounding techniques and body scanning.

Sandra, Student

These instructors are so down to earth and nice! They are easy to engage with and genuinely care for the people they are teaching.

From Clients:

My team and I participated in 'Prioritizing Self Care' and found it incredibly helpful. Almost immediately afterwards, I began receiving messages from staff expressing gratitude for the value of this session - and within 24 hours we had begun to implement strategies for self care in the workplace. It was pretty incredible., I would absolutely recommend booking this session.

Corrina, Client

Working with The Balanced Wellness Centre is easy. I am able to create diverse and engaging workplace wellness programs for my staff. They understand the needs of my staff and work within my budget - they coordinate everything. The only thing to do is invite the staff.
